# Staking Pools

Initial staking rewards allocation is 12 BTC, with a 4-year vesting period. After the initial distribution, the staking pools will undergo periodic reviews for adjustments based on ecosystem needs. Staking rewards are funded from the project's reserves and a portion of the protocol fees.

#### 2-Year Pool:

* APY: 18%
* Protocol Fee Share: 10%
* Allocation: 3.6 aaaBTC
* Annual Distribution: 0.9 aaaBTC

#### 1-Year Pool:

* APY: 12%
* Energy Bonus: +1 extra energy for every 0.00005 aaaBTC staked (up to +25 energy)
* Allocation: 3.6 aaaBTC
* Annual Distribution: 0.9 aaaBTC

#### 6-Month Pool:

* APY: 8%
* Energy Bonus: +1 extra energy for every 0.0001 aaaBTC staked (up to +10 energy)
* Allocation: 3.0 aaaBTC
* Annual Distribution: 0.8 aaaBTC

#### 3-Month Pool:

* APY: 4%
* Energy Bonus: +1 extra energy for every 0.00015 aaaBTC staked (up to +5 energy)
* Allocation: 1.8 aaaBTC
* Annual Distribution: 0.5 aaaBTC
